LYNX QR is a mobile and web application that allows users to create shareable QR codes containing their contact information. The Service includes both free and paid (Pro) subscription tiers with different features and limitations.

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, store, and display that content as necessary to provide the Service.

6.2 Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by LYNX QR and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.3 Image Upload Responsibility

You are wholly responsible for all images you upload to the Service, including but not limited to profile pictures, banner images, custom logos, and any other image content.

Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of your account and removal of all uploaded content, without refund. We reserve the right to remove any images we deem inappropriate, illegal, or in violation of these Terms at our sole discretion.

7. QR Code Security

QR codes generated through the Service include security tokens to prevent unauthorized access. You may share your QR code URL (link) on social media, in emails, or through any other means you choose - this is a feature of the Service designed to help you distribute your contact information.

However, attempting to guess, brute-force, or otherwise gain unauthorized access to QR code URLs that do not belong to you is strictly prohibited. The security token system ensures that only those with the correct URL (obtained by scanning your QR code or through your authorized sharing) can access your contact information.

You are responsible for how and where you share your QR code URLs. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from unauthorized access if you share your QR code URL publicly or with unintended recipients.

8. Data Encryption

Contact details stored in business accounts and Pro subscriptions are encrypted using AES-256 encryption. While we implement industry-standard security measures, you acknowledge that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Free QR Codes: Data entered for free QR codes (created without an account) is NOT encrypted, as it is never stored on our servers. Free QR codes are generated locally on your device and are not subject to our encryption or security measures.

9. Content Restrictions

Pro users may include links to any type of content in their QR codes. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you link to complies with applicable laws and platform policies. Free users are restricted from adding certain types of links.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LYNX QR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LYNX QR from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which LYNX QR operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
